Ryan Caldwell is a Senior Vice President at J.A. Green & Co., where since 2011 he has specialized in defense acquisition policy, national security, critical materials supply chains, and federal proposal management. Ryan excels in crafting legislative language, contract proposals, and support materials. He provides expert strategic advice to clients on framing their capabilities and requests to generate positive engagement with the U.S. Government and other relevant entities.
Since 2020, Ryan has been responsible for creating and managing a team which has developed significant expertise with the Defense Production Act and other industrial base accounts. Under his leadership, Green & Co.'s strategic materials team (affectionately known as the "Rocks Department") has generated an exceptionally strong record of success in advocating for projects to increase production of critical minerals and related products in the defense industrial base. Ryan also uses his experience and network within the legislative and executive branches to develop and promulgate effective, pragmatic, and tangible legislative, policy, and contract outcomes for Green & Co. clients. Prior to joining J.A. Green & Company, Ryan graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin Honors Program. After working for a few years in the mental health industry, he went back to school and graduated with a J.D. from the Duke University School of Law with a concentration in National Security. He enjoys a variety of challenges: when not assisting our clients in multimillion-dollar negotiations and decisions regarding government policy, you can often find him refereeing basketball or rugby in and around Washington, D.C. |
