Andrew Hevener

Andrew serves as a Research Associate for J.A. Green & Company. In this role, he provides research and analysis on proposed legislation and federal policy. Additionally, Andrew evaluates the impact of current events on the defense industrial base, foreign military sales, the federal budget, and client interests. Andrew is also responsible for drafting issue summaries, white papers, op-eds, policy alerts and for preparing advocacy materials for Congress, military, and industry audiences.
Prior to joining J.A. Green & Co. full time, Andrew served as a defense lobbying intern for the firm. In this role Andrew provided research to support advocacy strategies, assisted with weekly policy newsletters, and tracked legislative developments. A native of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Andrew graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Government and minors in both Public Policy and Law. At Cornell, Andrew was a member of the men’s varsity soccer team and served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Dr. Park Doing in his course, “Ethics of Autonomous Intelligent Systems.” |
