Chris Sharpsten is a solutions-oriented, executive leader, with rich experience in National Security & Supply Chain Resilience. His 33-years of service with the United States Army focused on delivering results during a multitude of combat and humanitarian assistance operations involving armored formations, airborne units, Delta Force, and several logistics units. He conducted countless missions at the tactical, operational, and national strategic level. At the culmination of his military career as a Major General, Chris transitioned to commercial industry where he guides companies with innovative technology through the stages of Seed, Growth, and Expansion.
Chris is the expert for any company involved in delivering capabilities for contested logistics, sustainment, distribution, facilities engineering, and industrial base resilience. Because of his dual expertise in both leadership and logistics, Chris enjoys opportunities working with innovators in the start-up and incubation phases of development. He has expertise in building organizational culture, vertical integration options, and revenue opportunities for these companies to accelerate growth. Chris previously served as the Department of Defense (DoD) Director for Logistics and Engineering in the 20-country region of the Middle East, as well as the Chief Operating Officer for Operation Warp Speed, the 2021 effort to provide COVID-19 pandemic relief. He has led multiple international public-private partnerships to enhance the flow of supplies and services globally. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University, and a Master of Science degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College in Washington DC. |
