Christopher L. Minakowski is Vice President, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), where he represents clients before Congress, executive agencies, and independent regulatory bodies in Washington, DC and internationally. As a lobbyist, Mr. Minakowski has helped clients secure over $100 million in federal appropriations, authorizations, and grants, and worked directly with agency regulators to draft Federal Rules that reflect the concerns of industry stakeholders. Mr. Minakowski also provides strategic and crisis communications consulting to businesses, providing an end-to-end business solution to companies seeking to reach a government customer.
Prior to joining J.A. Green & Company, Mr. Minakowski was founder and principal partner of Starboard Government Affairs where he represented clients in both EH&S and defense matters. Mr. Minakowski has also served in a leadership position at a prominent think tank and was a senior lobbyist at the Arlington firm of Alcalde & Fay. Before private practice, Mr. Minakowski served former Congressman Dana Rohrabacher as his Legislative Director. A native of Pennsylvania, Mr. Minakowski holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and a B.A. in English and History from Pennsylvania State University. An avid sailor and fly fisherman, he currently resides in the Washington, DC area with his lovely wife, son, and two daughters. |
