Villem "Will" Berglund

Policy Analyst

Will is a Policy Analyst at J.A. Green & Company, working across technology and government affairs portfolios. In this position, he provides research, strategy consultation, and analysis on proposed legislation, regulation implementation, and industrial policy. Will is also responsible for preparing clients’ initial annual benchmark strategies and advocacy materials for Congress and industry audiences.

Before joining Green & Company, Will was the Associate Director, Research at Prime Policy Group, implementing 30-plus clients’ advocacy strategies with Hill and Administration offices. In addition, he worked in client coordination and research across international portfolios at Mercury Public Affairs. He began his career as a Legislative Aide at the Wisconsin State Assembly. Will earned an M.P.P. from the University of Virginia and a B.A. from Carthage College.

Will hails from Grand Rapids, MI and Excelsior, MN; he was born in Prague and spent several years living in the Czech Republic and Hungary. Outside of the office, Will sings in The Washington Chorus and is a member of D.C.’s Society for International Development and Young Professionals in Energy chapters.
