J. A. Green & Co. President Jeffery A. Green Quoted in Leading Defense Publication on Rare Earths Award

Washington D.C. -- J. A. Green & Company (“J. A. Green & Co.” or the “Company”) President Jeffery A. Green was quoted in the widely read defense publication, C4ISRNET, about a recent rare earths award from the Department of Defense.

The Pentagon awarded a $30.4 million contract to increase the domestic production of rare earth elements that are critical for the operation of various defense technologies such as satellites or the F-35 fighter jet.

Mr. Green said, “The significance of the award is they [the Defense Department] are continuing to march forward and put the pieces of the puzzle back in place so the U.S. will have access to rare earth [elements] to meet national security needs.”

Mr. Green also emphasized the ubiquity of rare earth elements in national defense systems and is known for supporting efforts to enhance the domestic production of these critical elements.
