Michael Kaether

Policy Analyst

Michael serves as a Policy Analyst for J. A. Green & Company. In this role, he provides research and analysis on proposed legislation and federal policy and evaluates the impact of current events on the defense industrial base, foreign military sales, the federal budget, and client interests. Michael is responsible for preparing advocacy materials for Congress, military, and industry audiences.

Prior to joining J. A. Green & Co., Michael interned on Capitol Hill for US Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), where he focused on policy analysis regarding issues of national security and foreign affairs as well as constituent outreach.

Michael graduated from Elon University in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies with minors in History and German language and received an M.A. in German and European Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. While at Georgetown, he also completed a Certificate in Diplomatic Studies. Michael is originally from Stamford, Connecticut.
