Kris Dellapina currently serves as Vice President of Government Relations for J.A. Green & Company. In this role, she represents clients before congressional stakeholders, executive branch departments, federal agencies, and independent regulatory bodies. Kris specializes in the defense authorization and appropriations process and strategic and crisis communications advice.
Kris brings 30 years of national security experience to the J.A. Green team. She most recently served as the Director, Legislation and Policy at the Department of the Navy’s (DoN) Office of Legislative Affairs where she was responsible for developing and executing the DoN’s legislative strategy supporting their $258B annual budget. Kris brings her “whole of government” experience to the J.A. Green team having also served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology and serving as the senior legal advisor to the U.S. Ambassador and country team in Rome, Italy. As a Judge Advocate, Kris’ broad national security experience also includes serving as the Navy’s senior environmental counsel, Chief of Operational Law in Seoul, Korea, and Staff Judge Advocate to Carrier Strike Group FIFTEEN (USS RONALD REAGAN). Kris holds a B.A. from Denison University, a J.D. from Capital University and an LL.M. in International Environmental Law from George Washington University. |
