Catherine Phillips

Research Associate

Catherine serves as a Research Associate for J. A. Green & Company. In this role, she conducts research to support legislative and executive branch advocacy strategies, identifies and tracks legislation and regulations that impact client priorities, and evaluates the impact of current events on the defense industrial base and federal budget. Catherine is responsible for preparing advocacy materials for Congressional and industry audiences.

Prior to joining J. A. Green & Company, Catherine gained experience in technology policy through an internship at Research Triangle Park in Durham and as a Graduate Researcher for Duke Bass Connections, where she was involved in research on quantum computing development and innovations in nuclear power systems.

​Catherine graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in  Political Science and a minor in Science, Technology and Society. At NC State, she also earned her German Language Certificate. She went on to earn her Masters of Public Policy from Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy, concentrated in Technology Policy. Catherine is originally from Atlanta, Georgia.
